WP 1 – Preventive healthcare programmes for ChildPreventivni zdravstveni programi za otroke in mladostnike WP 1 – PREVENTIVE HEALTHCARE PROGRAMMES FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
The objective of WP 1 is to upgrade the programme of preventive healthcare for children and adolescents. Proposals and models for new approaches will be prepared based on needs assessment, and tested in the framework of the project. Experts, who work in preventive healthcare for children and adolescents, will actively cooperate in the process of designing the new model. Next to the new designed model for the upgrade of the preventive healthcare programme for children and adolescents, the project will also contribute to capacity building in this field.

WP 2 – Programme for integrated prevention and control of lifestyle-related chronic diseases in adults
The objective of WP 2 is to upgrade the programme for integrated prevention and control of lifestyle-related chronic diseases in adults. Based on needs assessment, new proposals and models for new approaches will be developed and tested within the project. Experts, who work in preventive healthcare for adults, will actively cooperate in the process of designing the new model. Next to the new designed model for integrated prevention and control of lifestyle-related chronic diseases in adults, the project will also contribute to capacity building in this field.

WP 3 – Communication
WP 3 includes activities for informing wider publics, policymakers and all stakeholders or interest groups about the project as well as activities for the exchange of information among project co-workers. This work package is ongoing for entire project duration and it includes internal (project partners and co-workers) and external (different external publics) communication. In the line with project process, various communication activities will take place for information and dissemination of project results and outputs.
WP 4 – Project management
WP 5 includes activities for expert, organizational and financial management and coordination of the project. The activities guarantee that project will run as planned, that milestones will be reached in time and overall supervision of the project. Project leader runs a core project team, which is responsible for all operative activities. Members of steering committee are directly included in the work of individual working groups, but they also meet at least twice a year at working meetings. The project is supervised by Advisory committee, which is led by the Ministry of Health of the RS.
Outputs and reports
In the framework of the project, new approaches, tools, programmes and services will be developed. The first phase will include a needs assessment from the aspect of users and vulnerable and disadvantaged groups as well as the need assessment of the gaps in organization and implementation of preventive activities. New models and approaches will be prepared and pilot tested in chosen urban and country areas. Project activities also include new programmes of education and training for the capacity building of healthcare system on primary level and in other sectors, which closely cooperate in the field of health, especially in education and social work. Project outputs will be forwarded to Ministry of Health of the RS as a basis for the changes in the field of preventive healthcare on primary level.
